Thomas House

A detached private residence in the Kent greenbelt. The client, the Creative Director of an advertising agency, provided a brief consisting of just four words; entertaining, texture, light and unpredictable. The scheme reconfigures the existing building without increasing its footprint and allows a direct relationship with the grounds of the house by considering the flowing spaces within the building as part of the landscape.
