Blue Lion Studio, London

2024

The interiors for Blue Lion Studios were designed to create a calm, collaborative workspace that supports creativity, flexibility, and user well-being. Drawing from the character of the former printworks, the interior scheme combines muted tones, tactile materials, and handcrafted details to establish a warm and cohesive environment rooted in the building’s industrial past.

Spaces were carefully arranged to encourage both focused work and informal collaboration, with natural light playing a central role in shaping the atmosphere throughout the studio. The material palette balances durability with softness, creating an environment that feels contemporary while remaining connected to the heritage of the building.

Collaboration with local craftspeople and consultants was integral to the process, bringing a distinctive handcrafted quality to the interiors and reinforcing connections to the local context and supply chain. The result is a workspace that feels authentic, adaptable, and uniquely grounded in its setting.
