Foster Lomas is a London-based architecture and interior design practice led by William Foster and Greg Lomas. Since its inception in 2005, the practice has developed a diverse portfolio of work, from highly-tailored homes for private clients to a rewilding centre on the Isle of Man, with budgets ranging from £500,000 to £50 million. Architectural Design
Foster Lomas Architects is a Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Chartered Practice. We provide a holistic design approach that fully integrates physical buildings with their mechanical and electrical systems and services. We have a track record of delivering architecture from all stages of work from client briefing and concept design through to completion and handover.
Interior Design
Our team of interior architects and designers work alongside our architecture team to deliver interior concepts, design, procurement and installation. This service includes conceptual space planning, furniture design, finishes specifications and the provision of Furniture, Fittings & Equipment (FF&E) as well as the provision of bespoke joinery design packages (for bathrooms, kitchens, wardrobes integrated shelving and window treatments).
Lighting Design
At Foster Lomas, we deliver expertly crafted lighting schemes, independent of manufacturers, ensuring tailored solutions for architecture and FF&E. We collaborate closely with electrical and AV consultants, designing for exteriors, landscapes, and interiors. Our work includes bespoke and decorative lighting, blending functionality and ambiance to create cohesive, atmospheric spaces that enhance the architectural form and user experience.
Project Management
We offer a complete project management service, providing seamless project delivery from start to finish. We manage budgets and delivery programmes, coordinating design teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure our projects are completed on time and within budget. This means that our clients have a dedicated point of contact throughout the life cycle of their project with us which allows us to maintain clear and effective communication and easily mitigate risk.
FF&E Design, Sourcing and Procurement
Our Furniture, Fittings & Equipment (FF&E) services cover all aspects of the interiors of a project that are not a part of the structure of the building. Our studio prides itself on designing hand-crafted, bespoke furnishings to meet your unique aesthetic and requirements. We will collaborate with highly-skilled artists and makers to create beautifully unique pieces that integrate seamlessly into the vision for your project. This includes furniture, upholstery, curtains, textiles, rugs, artwork, etc. In addition to bespoke items, we will work with established suppliers to source new and vintage items that meet your requirements.
